International Wire Group Completes Acquisition of Hussey Copper

International Wire Group (“IWG”), a leading manufacturer of copper and copper-alloy wire products, has officially completed the acquisition of Hussey Copper, North America’s leading producer of copper bars and plate products, from KPS Capital Partners, LP. The transaction closed on July 9, 2025.

This milestone follows the previously announced intent to acquire Hussey Copper and marks a significant step in IWG’s long-term growth strategy. The acquisition broadens IWG’s copper solutions portfolio and strengthens its presence across key markets, including electrification, architecture, and next-generation technologies.
